E-commerce Growth Hacker (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative E-commerce Growth Hacker to join their fully remote team. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in identifying and implementing rapid, scalable growth strategies across all facets of the e-commerce business. You will leverage data, experimentation, and unconventional tactics to acquire customers, increase conversion rates, and enhance customer lifetime value. This position is ideal for a data-driven individual who thrives on testing hypotheses, analyzing results, and iterating quickly to achieve exponential growth for online ventures, operating remotely from any location within South Africa .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize the e-commerce website funnel, from acquisition to conversion and retention.
• Identify and implement growth opportunities across various channels, including SEO, content marketing, email, social media, and paid acquisition.
• Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and key growth metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage referral programs, loyalty schemes, and other initiatives to drive customer advocacy and repeat purchases.
• Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, growth hacking techniques, and e-commerce best practices.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and data teams to implement growth initiatives effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Growth Hacker or in a similar role focused on rapid scaling within the e-commerce industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and data visualization.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user experience (UX) principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative and effective growth strategies.
• Proficiency in various marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email automation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a relentless drive for measurable results in a remote environment.
