Purpose of the Role Sales Manager will source new customers and develop profitable new business account relationships, identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. The role reports to Head of eCommerce Poland, Germany and Nordics.
Accountabilities Develop new business account relationships and identify opportunities. Work with existing and build new relationships with technical, referral, and gateway partners to acquire new mid‑market merchants. Maintain solid relationships with clients (existing & new) that bring in the most income for the company.
Address and manage client blocking points. Acquire mid‑market merchants independently as a sales professional from the payment industry. Analyze customer needs and create an end‑to‑end strategy from contract negotiation to final activation.

Knowledge of product marketing and organizational operations.
Marketing and business development/sales skills. Knowledge of technology and payment gateway providers. Understanding of sales methodologies. Knowledge of CRM/IT systems such as Salesforce, MS 365, Seismic, Co‑Pilot. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years sales experience in the payments industry with at least 2 years in eCommerce payments industry. Fluency in written and spoken business English. Established B2B payment sector network and strong contacts. Completed university studies or evidence of similar qualifications.
Excellent rhetorical and analytical skills, confident appearance, strong negotiation skills and drive to succeed. Controlled Function Disclosure This role has been identified as Controlled Function (“CF 7”) under the CBI Regulations.
Employees must comply with the CBI’s Fitness and Probity Regime and the Conduct Standards, and they agree to allow the Company to conduct necessary due diligence. Location Expectation While posted as remote, employees based near the office will be expected to work onsite 3+ days per week.
