About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Remote E-commerce Performance Analyst to join their team and provide crucial insights into online business performance. This role is essential for identifying trends, optimizing strategies, and driving measurable growth across all e-commerce channels. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets related to website traffic, sales, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various e-commerce platforms and marketing tools.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, AOV, customer lifetime value, ROAS).
- Identify key drivers of e-commerce performance, including customer behavior patterns, traffic sources, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize website performance, marketing spend, and user experience.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific areas of the e-commerce business to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align data insights with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst, Performance Analyst, or Data Analyst in an online retail environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, and potentially BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and interpretation of results.
- Excellent understanding of e-commerce metrics, KPIs, and marketing analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
