Remote E-commerce Operations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is expanding its digital footprint and seeks a skilled Remote E-commerce Operations Specialist to manage and optimize their online sales channels. This fully remote position based out of Vereeniging will focus on ensuring a seamless online customer journey, from website management and order processing to fulfillment coordination and performance analysis. You will play a critical role in driving online revenue growth and maintaining operational excellence for our e-commerce platform, working independently with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update product listings, descriptions, and pricing on the e-commerce platform.
• Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of online orders.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to manage shipping, tracking, and delivery issues.
• Monitor website performance, identify technical issues, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage online customer inquiries and support channels, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, online retail management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, online sales funnels, and digital marketing principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using e-commerce analytics tools.
• Experience with order management systems (OMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
