About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Remote E-commerce Sales Analyst to provide crucial insights into online sales performance and customer behavior. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your analytical skills to optimize sales strategies and drive business growth from anywhere. You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and reporting on sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the online customer experience and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data analysis, possesses a strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, and excels at translating complex data into clear, concise business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data from various e-commerce channels and platforms.
- Develop detailed reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within sales data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify strategic advantages.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve website performance, marketing campaigns, and customer segmentation.
- Collaborate with e-commerce, marketing, and product teams to implement data-driven strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
- Experience with e-commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
