Team Leader Software Development & E-Commerce (m/f/d)

Our client is an established medium-sized company based in Lower Franconia, Germany, which has positioned itself as a leading specialist for industrial printing and identification solutions. In this role, you will assume a key position to future-proof the digital application landscape and the technological roadmap.

Architecture & Strategy: Responsibility for the further development and scaling of the digital system and data architecture, as well as management of the technological roadmap. Leadership & Development: Technical leadership and development of the development team (approx. 5 people), including the establishment of modern methods for a high-performing organization. Process & Quality Standards: Introduction and monitoring of modern development, testing, and deployment workflows (CI/CD). Innovation & Best Practices: Evaluation and implementation of new frameworks, interfaces, and AI-supported development tools. System Quality & Operations: Ensuring the stability, data security, performance, and scalability of the entire platform landscape. Stakeholder Management: Interface between business and technology. Expert management advice on investment and technology decisions.

The technology environment: Modern e-commerce and shop systems, PHP ecosystem / modern web frameworks, API-first & interface architectures (REST), relational databases & containerization (Docker), modern ERP & PIM environment, cloud infrastructures (AWS/Linux) & CI/CD via GitLab, use of innovative AI developer tools.

Erfahrung: Fundierter Hintergrund als Senior Developer, Lead Architect, Team Lead oder Engineering Manager.

Hands-on & Tech-Know-how: Starke Expertise in PHP-basierten Systemen, Schnittstellen-Integrationen sowie modernen DevOps- und Cloud-Konzepten.

Enterprise-Systeme: Verständnis für die Verzahnung von Handels-, ERP- und Produktdaten-Plattformen.

Leadership: Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der fachlichen oder disziplinarischen Führung von Teams sowie im Change Management.
