About the Role

Our client, a prominent online retailer specializing in gourmet food products, is seeking a highly creative and skilled Remote Food Stylist & Photographer. This role is 100% remote, enabling you to work from your dedicated home studio. You will be responsible for visually presenting food products in an enticing and appealing manner for e-commerce listings, marketing materials, and social media campaigns. This requires a unique blend of culinary understanding, artistic vision, and technical photography skills. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for food presentation, and the ability to create stunning imagery that drives consumer interest and sales. You will play a crucial role in defining the visual identity of our client's diverse product range.

Key Responsibilities

• Style and photograph a wide variety of food products, ensuring they are presented attractively and accurately represent the brand.
• Develop creative concepts for food styling and photography shoots that align with marketing objectives.
• Prepare food items for photography, including cooking, arranging, and garnishing as needed.
• Manage lighting, composition, and camera settings to achieve professional-quality images.
• Edit and retouch photographs to enhance visual appeal, ensuring consistency in style and quality.
• Collaborate remotely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to understand product requirements and campaign goals.
• Maintain an organized inventory of props, backdrops, and equipment for styling and photography.
• Stay updated on current food styling and photography trends, particularly within the e-commerce space.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-resolution images for various digital platforms.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Food Stylist and Food Photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce work.
• Excellent understanding of food preparation techniques and the ability to make food look appealing on camera.
• Proficiency in various photography styles and techniques, including studio lighting and composition.
• Expertise in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• A well-equipped home studio with professional camera gear, lighting, and styling props.
• Strong artistic vision and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and project management skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with food safety and handling protocols is important.
